LEED is one of the world leading frameworks for green building, construction, interiors and operations. LEED has set out a plethora of credits that guide human-centric design.

Here at aaline, we strive to better both our end users and the environment with our all-natural product solutions. Our fixtures are made out of our curated selection of materials.

Through our precise craft and technical expertise we can help to achieve all preconditions and earn 28 points in LEED v4.1 2024.

Lighting + Acoustics

With a wide range of LED colour temperatures, our fixtures are designed for the well-being of the occupants of the space. We offer colour tunable fixtures on DALI control systems to work with sensors and adjust based on end-users circadian rhythm. Our design team is equipped with leading photometric analysis technology to provide you and your team with accurate data to design WELL spaces.

Energy + Life Cycle

We have decided to Bullfrog Power® our facility with green electricity and gas. We are reducing our organization’s energy pollution, supporting community-based renewable energy projects in our region and across Canada, and helping lead the way to a renewably powered future. Furthermore, to understand our impact on the environment, the aaline team has constructed a system for estimating the carbon footprint of each of our products, inspired by ISO 14067:2018 and GHG Protocol.

Materials

Wood by nature is a carbon sink, storing the atmosphere’s CO2 and reducing greenhouse gases. As a Canadian manufacturer, we take pride in innovating with one of our country’s highly sought after natural resources. Relying on local supply-chain, contributes to our local economy and reduces our carbon footprint on transportation. Our wood is supplied and milled under 50KM from our factory.
