role requirements + responsibilities
1-3 years of experience in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Carpentry, or related field
On-site/in-person role
Assisting in the manufacturing of products and projects
Experience operating equipment, machines, hand tools, and power tools
Experience in 3D design software an asset (Rhino 3D, Fusion360)
Reading and interpreting shop drawings
Maintaining and organizing the shop
Other day-to-day production tasks
Production Assistant Position
We are expanding our team with a 3-month paid contract position as a Production Assistant. This position is primarily geared towards our aaline branch of the company, which focuses on the design of lighting + acoustics. You will be involved in the manufacturing of products and projects and production responsibilities. Depending on your drive and success, there may be opportunity for growth within this role with the company.

Our design studio and fabrication shop are under the same roof in the Junction neighbourhood of Toronto. We highly value design-integrated production and innovative problem-solving. Our company offers design + production services to clients, and also has several products in the market such as Canadiano, aaline, and the Bookseat to name a few.
Currently, we are looking for a creative and driven Production Assistant to join our team to assist with our ongoing projects & products.
