Anti-Glare Visor Types
Eliminating Glare
Glare is a visual sensation of high intensity light that causes viewers discomfort. In effort to reduce the glare, aaline developed a proprietary carved-visor design, in which the luminaire sits higher up in the fixture and allows the carved portion to reflect and diffuse the light. This results in nearly eliminating the glare from most reasonable positions in the room.
Unified Glare Rating
The Unified Glare Rating (UGR) is a method for calculating glare intensity of a given light source. We are able to achieve a UGR<16 with our light fixtures, perfect for WELL-certified and LEED building requirements.
